To make this project happen I am looking for:
- A photographer to support this project by volunteering their time and services to take photographs of "real models" in real situations at the Doctor's office. I want the photographer to be open to suggestions from the models since they are the people that know that infertility is real and comes with a lot of emotions. There are also those times that you have to laugh at yourself leaving room for the humor so that you don't cry every moment of the time. I want this project to have a variety of expression and art to raise awareness through the art of photography.
- A Fertility Practice (preferably CT area but open to NY Tri-State Area) to support this project by allowing me to utilize an exam room, the waiting room, a therapy room and possibly other parts of the office to take an inside look at the emotions of infertility while taking tasteful photographs that show "the real" of infertility! It would also be a great addition to have a Doctor and/or nurse present for the photo shoot. The shoot can be scheduled after hours and on weekends to eliminate any distraction with patients during regular hours.
- Looking for "real models" (male and female) that are going through fertility treatments currently or have experienced infertility to volunteer their time to model for this project. All are welcome! Details will be sent once a Fertility Practice and Photographer are in place. Send your information to me via email so that I can add you to my list.
This project is for a good cause. It will share the stories of those struggling with infertility through art from photographs that you can feel and see the emotions. If a magazine or newspaper is interested in partnering with this project please email me below.
If you are interested in joining this project or have any questions, please email me at Franga27@aol.com. I am open to any suggestions. Ideally I would like to have this scheduled for sometime in mid- late March or early April, so that pictures will be available for the upcoming National Infertility Awareness Week which is April 22-26th.
Please show the love and share this with anyone that might have an interest in becoming involved in this project. I have so many ideas and want to be able to express them through photography.
